Platycladus orientalis Aurea Nana

Plant care
Soil. Thuy grow well in moist lungs, sandy and slightly acid soils, with the addition of sod land, does not tolerate flooding the root system. Too dense soil around Tui recommended periodically loosen (no deeper than 10 cm) and mulch with peat or sawdust (a layer of about 7 cm). Too dry soil and shady location is the reason that the plant loses its decorative: Tui crown becomes liquid and its needles fades (in golden and variegated varieties losing color), there are heavy cones.
